The video is a first attempt to research on how time unfolds itself at different speed in space through acts of humans and non-humans; as well as how they seem to have been fallen out of here and now, and into the Theatre of Reality. I documented and then montaged these acts independently from the original context, letting the dramaturgy emerge from the inherent sense embedded in the footages. In the new artificial context of film, the meanings of the captured acts become ambiguous and transformed; in the distortion of the original sequence, time passes in a non-linear way, articulated by the silence and sound.
The friction between different speeds of time in space would create a sense of surreality and question the border of reality and fiction; while sometimes reality could be more fictional than staged theatre.
The video explores the inherent theatricality of the medium through long static frames; meanwhile, the choice for smartphone as camera preserves the intuition and intimacy in the process of capturing reality.
