Carousel is a piece about how war could be perceived by me living in peace. Me who watched the news, me who burnt the house, me who cleared the ruins, me, the archeologist, trying to make sense of the world by measuring the distance between me and the present.
In the process of weaving gesture, image and sound together, we experimented with varying framings of singular phenomena, hoping to reveal the essence of media and its underlying pattern of relations between me and the world. By manipulating information and its perception, we tried to understand the fragility of reality and the border of the tipping point.
